Fast food faux pas

Today for lunch I walked up to Ernie's taco truck.

"Heya Ernie, can I get a Texas, no pickles?" (A Texas burger is a cheeseburger with pastrami)

He gave me a look like I was a gibbering idiot who just made some pitifully unintelligible attempt at speech. I was a bit confused at first, since I order it all the time...

Ah, you see, today is the Rose Bowl, and Texas is playing SoCal. My bad! Finally, he agreed to make the burger, but only if he could burn it.
