Wheeee
Some people might be aware that there was an ascii-art version of Star Wars: A New Hope done as a Java applet a few years back. I recently discovered that someone set up a telnet server that will display it to a terminal if you connect--no login or password or anything. The hostname is "towel.blinkenlights.nl". Handy if you only know the world in 80x25.
On another note, sorry for slipping on the CD reviews yesterday. I, um, didn't really have a good excuse.
What else... Oh, I finally changed the quote on the right hand side of the page.
Watched a couple episodes of Firefly today, including my two favorites, "War Stories" and "Trash." Yarr!
If anyone else shares my undying love for AYB, you might want to check this out. It's a version of the standard AYB intro, set to the tune of Bohemian Rhapsody, using the dialog from the intro as the lyrics... It's awful, it's painful and it's fantastic. There's also a wonderful (and really short) flash version of the Transformers movie by the same guy, but most of his other stuff isn't worth the time. Oh, and the link goes to Newgrounds, which have Firefox-defying popup/under/sideways, apologies in advance.
Cheers!
